About Us

Stace-Allen Chucks, Inc. was developed by Mr. Walter Stace and Mr. Joseph S. Allen in 1946. Upon the passing of Mr. Allen, his daughter, Marcia Grimes, assumed the role of President and at the present time, two of her sons are involved in the business. Stace-Allen has always been proud of their knowledge of machining practices and of the importance of customer service. James Timmons, VP of Sales, Robert Smith, Service, James McElfresh, Shop Foreman, and Tim Grimes, Vice-President, together have approximately 150 years of experience in the manufacturing world. We are well aware of the necessity of a prompt response when a line goes down or a delivery target must be met. We are extremely proud of our customer service and of our ability to retool existing Stace-Allen workholding products to meet our customer's needs. Over the years, Stace-Allen has been recognized for its ability to design and manufacture workholding chucks, fixtures, collets, etc for complex parts. We find solutions to chucking problems where others have failed. Our employees are constantly learning new techniques to better manufacture our product, and we are continually purchasing new equipment to update both our manufacturing and engineering departments. Our design department using Inventor 2010 is capable of in-depth knowledge of how the chuck will preform when holding your part. Stace-Allen strives for excellence in all areas. Let us quote your workholding applications, you won't be disappointed.
